​Emma paints from her studio in Nelson, New Zealand.
Executed using acrylics, often on raw linen, with affection for the drawn line, Emma's work captures the spirit of the sitter, presenting the familiar and significant with emotional strength and intriguing narratives.
Emma's works which are held in collections in Europe, the USA, Australia and New Zealand, have been selected for major national awards including the NZ Printing and Painting Award and have toured the country as part of the New Zealand Portrait Gallery's Adam Award.
