GENTLE AS THE DREAM SHE WEAVES 2015

Emma's narrative portraits in this collection are inspired by the colourful biographical stories of Marlborough textile artist, Peg Moorhouse, whose hand-woven pieces accompanied Emma’s work during this exhibition. Gentle as the Dream She Weaves reveals facets of this remarkable near-centenarian, weaving together Peg’s fascinating history and affinity with her loom, and Emma’s paintings of her friend and fellow artist.
